I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I cam to die, discover that I had not lived.
-Henry David Thoreau
Every day matters. Because you're running out.
Get out your pencil and lets do some math. . . .
Step 1: Multiply your age by 365 days.
______your age_________ x 365 = answer a
Step 2: Subtract that number from 27,375 days (the average lifespan in days, +/-)
27,375 - answer a = answer b
Step 3: Take answer b and start using it!
That is how many days you have left to accomplish all the things you were put on this earth to do. We don't have enough time to waste!
Teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
Things to Remember . . . .
Life is too short to be cranky. Attitude is a choice. We create our own world by the way we choose to see it. For the next year your mind can focus on fear, worry, problems, negativity, and despair. OR it can focus on confidence, opportunity, solutions, optimism, and success. You decide.
Move forward every day. Yesterday is expired. The past is not your potential. There are far better things ahead of you than any you leave behind. The next five years are a blank canvas. Decide that you will throw all the paint on it you can.
Don't Worry! It's been estimated that 99 out of 100 things we worry about never even happen. If you stopped working about what might happen tomorrow, that would give you so much more time to celebrate and relish today. What did you worry about 6 months ago? A year ago? Five years ago? How many of your biggest worries actually happened?
Be Grateful. Stop and view your life for the other 6 billion pairs of eyeballs across the globe. Literally hundreds of millions of people would be thrilled to swap places with you right not. Take a moment to be thankful for all the things someone else would be ecstatic to have.
What you focus on increases. So focus on living a life without regret.
