FEED Projects: Fashion that Gives Back

FEED is an impact driven lifestyle brand with an enduring principle: people's choices of what to buy and wear have the power to change the world. They offer meaningful ways for customers to make a difference, from the bags they carry to the meals they share.

The Problem: Hunger is a daily reality for approximately 795 million people. This is particularly devastating for children, and results in delayed development, chronic illnesses like asthma and anemia, behavioral problems like hyperactivity, anxiety, and aggression in school-aged children.

The Solution: One of the most effective solution to combat this crisis is school feeding. Giving kids a daily school meal helps them learn and play, and also incentivizes their parents to send them.

The Story: Lauren Bush founded FEED in 2007 after seeing the reality of childhood hunger firsthand while traveling with the World Food Program. She created the first FEED bag as a tangible way for her peers to get involved. The number on each FEED product represents the number of school meals provided with each purchase.

The Impact: FEED creates good products that help feed the world. Since their founding, FEED has provided over 111, 350, 327 meals, thanks to their customers' purchase.
