It Pays
To Know Your Calling
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do." -Steve Jobs
Your calling, or your vocation, is the highest form of work. A j-o-b might get you money. A career might get you status. But a calling will give you purpose, meaning, and fulfillment. And the irony is, job security doesn't come from a company, a job, or a career. It comes from knowing what you're good at that adds value to others. It comes from knowing and operating in your calling.

You Were Called to Do Something That Matters
The word "matters" literally means "to be of significance." The truth is, we all want much more than success. We want significance. We want to know our purpose, grow in our potential, and sew into the lives of others. You have a unique reason for being here; you have something you're great at; and you have the ability to transform lives through your gifts. And no amount of money, cars, or fancy chocolate can drown out that desire. (Although chocolate might get you close.)
Love Your Mondays
Work should be challenging, engaging, stimulating, and meaningful. Imagine waking up, tossing off the covers, excited to head to work in the morning. Imagine doing something you really love... for a living. Work should be an exciting adventure, not just a 9-5 daily grind.
